Funerals

Following the memorial service, many families invite their close friends to a reception to celebrate the life of the loved one that has passed away. To make organising the reception easier during a difficult time, many families hire a caterer for the occasion.

If you are hosting a funeral reception, Indulge Catering can provide fresh food for you and your guests. Please be advised that we will require at least 24 hours’ notice when preparing a buffet. Here is an example of a funeral buffet prepared for a previous client:

• Selection of sandwiches on white and brown bread with crisps
• 2 x cheeseboard with biscuits and grapes
• Selection of quiche slices
• Selection of cakes
• Tea and coffee

Your food will be freshly prepared using locally sourced ingredients. We will be happy to accommodate any further requests you have and dishes can be provided to suit your guests’ special dietary requirements. With funeral catering, we usually provide traditional buffets, though we can prepare a combination of hot and cold dishes should you prefer. A selection of wines and beers is also available.
