This Saturday (7th April), we will be attending the Edinburgh Farmers’ Market. We’re really looking forward to this as the market is very popular within the area and so it’s going to give us a chance to showcase some of our finests foods to the local residents, and potentially raise the profile of Indulge Catering.
We’ve gathered up a few details ahead of the day and hope that this encourages you to attend!
Where is it?
The Edinburgh Farmers’ Market is located on the castle terrace, just on the back of Edinburgh Castle. This is pretty central to the city with lots nearby and easy transport and travel accessibility. The market is open between the hours of 9am – 2pm and has been running for 17 years now, bringing in the finest fresh local produce for its customers.
What does the market consist of?
The market consists of a wide range of things, and some of this changes weekly, for example like us at Indulge Catering being there on Saturday. It’s primarily food on the market, and this covers all things from things like meat and cheese, to jam and fresh fruit along with various types of gourmet food for you to try. However, now and again they do sell non food related items, like natural soaps for example.
What will Indulge Catering be doing there?
We at Indulge Catering are attending Edinburgh Farmers’ Market to showcase some of the things we produce and allow customers to try samples and find out a bit more about what we do as a business, and what we could do for them. It is going to give people the chance to try some of our finest homemade specialities and so this could be a good taster for you if you are thinking about buying from us or having us cater for an event.
If you are thinking of buying from Indulge Catering but have never had any previous experience with us before, we do urge you to come along as this will be a great way to find out if we are what you’re looking for, and we’re really looking forward to meeting everyone and giving them some more information about ourselves!
Furthermore, we’re also looking forward to trying some of the other local fresh produce that’s going to be on offer and that has been popular with the markets’ customers for so many years.
