Birthday Parties

Once you’ve sent out the invites and booked the venue, you’re faced with the challenge of making sure there’s plenty of good food and drink for your guests to enjoy.

Since founding in 2005, Indulge Catering has prepared delicious food for birthday parties of all sizes throughout Edinburgh and surrounding areas. Whether the birthday boy or girl is turning eight or 88, Ceri can create a delicious buffet for guests to enjoy during the festivities. We can provide traditional finger food, and hot dishes can also be incorporated if preferred. 24 hours’ notice is required to prepare a buffet.

Birthday Party Sample Menu:

• Paella
• Chilli con carne served with rice
• Spicy vegetarian tacos with guacamole

We can also provide a birthday cake should you require. Unfortunately, due to timescales and high customer demand, we are unable to decorate cakes. Thanks to Indulge Catering, planning a birthday celebration has never been easier.

If you are hosting a children’s party, Ceri can come along to teach your young guests how to cook a delicious dish from scratch. The birthday boy or girl can choose their favourite dish to cook with all their friends! Here are just a few of tasty treats we can create:

• Chocolate marble cake
• Chocolate or plain cupcakes
• Chocolate fudge cakes
• Carrot cake
• Lemon curd butterfly cakes
• Chocolate or plain spider cakes
• Shortbread ladies and gentlemen
• Swiss roll – chocolate or plain

Prior to your party, Ceri will visit your home or venue, making sure that the facilities are suitable to prepare the dish requested. She will provide aprons, utensils and fresh ingredients ready for when everyone arrives. The kids will love preparing their very own culinary creations! All they need to bring along is a tin or container in which they can take their masterpiece home.

Children’s parties with Indulge Catering last approximately 2.5 hours. Ceri will provide party food on platters or in boxes for the kids to enjoy whilst the main dish is cooking. Once it’s done, everyone will join Ceri in the kitchen to decorate their cake to bring home! Parents will only need to organise party games for around 30-45 minutes; the kids will spend the rest of the time enjoying the party food and creating their new signature dish!
